New political positions and this Saturday's election

Recently I was re-elected to the board of the Strafford County Republican Committee and at the same time was elected to the NH Republican Committee. A few weeks later I was nominated, and then elected, to the position of Vice Chairman of the Strafford County Republican Committee. Over the past few months, several members of the Board of Directors of Gun Owners of New Hampshire have asked me to run for a position on the board. At the last meeting, I was asked again by four members, so I told them that if they wanted me to run for a position on the board, I would be willing to do so. I was nominated and asked if I would be willing to work on the newsletter. I agreed to help with it, and will be going to my first meeting of committee that works on the newsletter this Saturday. This Saturday I will be participating in the election to choose who will run the NH Republicn party. It will be a difficult decision for me to choose whom to vote for in the election for the highest position in the NH Republican party because there are at least two excellent candidates running for that position, including Fergus Cullen and Fran Wendelboe. Fergus is a really nice guy who has a lot of energy and ambition, while Fran is a wonderful lady who has experience in the NH House of Representatives and an excellent voting record. I believe that they both have the character needed for such a position, and I would be happy if either of them won. The other candidates, unfortunately, I know little about.

Lost state rep race

As some of you know already, I didn't win the election for State Rep in 2006. You win some and you lose some. Despite the results of the last election, I will continue working to defend civil liberties.
